Which is the better radar detector Escort Passport 9500i or Valentine 1?

I am looking for top of the line radar detectors and these seem to be the top two, which one is better and why?


Valentine. Car & Driver magazine tests the top of the line detectors on a regular basis and the Valentine ALWAYS destroys the competetion. Not to say the Escort isn't a great device but if you seriously want the best money can buy then it's the V1.

Escort Passport 9500i or Valentine One Radar Detector?

Which radar detector would I be better off with, I live in Houston and have lots of red light cameras and laser is what most of the cops use down here. I was looking at this website at http://www.RadarReviews.Net and it was a big help, I was just curious

Are you saying that the V1 doesn’t record multiple sources at once? If so, you should perhaps contain out Mike’s website. I was cruising down i-5 with a buddy, i had my V1, he had a 9500i, he was in front of me in the far formerly larboard lane doing about 95, i was on his croup in the precisely lane, My V1 told me there was a KA bind arranged winning, unfailing enough there was. Unfortunately my Maecenas’s 9500ci didn’t unreservedly nick it. So speeding ticket for him

V1 is the superb RLD in the in every respect hands down. It is more acute. It picks up more than one tie at the same outdated. It has directional arrows and is nobler in detecting laser. When the 9500i detects laser it means you principled got a ticket. But when the V1 detects laser cars 1,2,3,4 paces in front of you are being targeted giving you metre to leaden-footed down. Choosing a V1 goes counterpart if you rove on the highway share out. The ONLY voiding I would give the V1 is that is FALSES WAY MORE than the 9500i.
